Rising Star Bohdan Sobol Set for Electrifying Fourth IBA Title Defense in Riga !
Bohdan Sobol is gearing up for his fourth defense of the IBA title, solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the boxing world. The young and highly skilled boxer will headline the LNK promotion on October 19 at the prestigious Arena Riga in Latvia. Already holding three IBA Intercontinental titles, Sobol\’s victory in this defense could pave the way for a shot at the IBA World Championship.
His opponent, Lucas Bastida from Argentina, currently ranked in the top 70 globally, is no stranger to tough competition. Bastida aims to become the first Argentine in years to claim an IBA title, reminiscent of Carlos Baldomir’s victory over Arturo Gatti in the early 2000s, before Baldomir faced the legendary Floyd Mayweather for an epic IBA World championship.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of IBA, along with LNK Boxing\’s Mr. Vadim Milov and Mr. Evgeny Sapronenko, Sobol has risen to the top 50 middleweights worldwide. The October 19 bout promises to be an electrifying event, sanctioned by both the IBA and LPBF.
